Haha I would not say blow up the $ :) Honestly speaking if I had landed up spending a couple of grands just for FSX , I would expect it to use any kind of addon however heavy with full max settings and still reach 50-60 fps. Do you have the iFly 737 ? If you do could tell me the comparison between PMDG and iFly.
I have the iFly 737, but i uninstalled it because i'm not gonna use it anymore. iFly is NOwhere near PMDG 737 NGX. Not even close and FPS? Horrible... 737 NGX is worth every penny! dance.gif

Ok. But is it because of the graphics in PMDG ?

Because it IS MUCH more realistic :P The graphics are exeptional too, E.g. I like the fingerprints on the displays. iFly does not have this feature = not realistic. You can try the iFly for free if you want. They offer a 30 days money back Guarantee :D PMDG 737 NGX got a lot more liveries too and they look stunning. Each livery is about 100MB in size, which I've NEVER seen before im Not Worthy.gif = Stunning external graphics :P

I'm pretty sure that's what they offered. But I bought iFly a couple of months ago. The offer may have expired

Ooh ok ya the site does not contain any info on that, how much does the PMDG cost ? iFly is $55. Hmm $70 not bad at all. I think I will go for ifly right now , and rather wait till Ms Flight, who knows it may just be a Big Big surprise from MS (cross my fingers) .

$15 + $200 CPU $xxx motherboard + $130 (PSU) + $ 200 (GFX Card) almost $600 yes a big deal atm. :) My rig works nicely without heavy add ons pretty quick. So I rather wait some more time and then upgrade Big time. I just purchased this new system a few days ago , had a dual core E5700 earlier (good performer) and the AMD board I have can accommodate a Phenom X6. See my sig.

Hmm I see... But in the end you're gonna buy PMDG 737 NGX anyway. 55 Bucks wasted ?

Hahaha if you round all of it my total cost when I upgrade would turn out to be around a grand including iFly & PMDG because I need my new Altec Lansing's too.
