2D cockpit panel stretched.

The 2D cockpit panel seems stretched in the vertical but too narrow in the horizontal plane. Any suggestions to resizing?cheersJohn Cornish

Do you have wide_view_aspect=true? You need this if you hbe a widescreen monitor.

Thanks Alfredo, I don't have a wide screen but added the entry into the FSX.cfg file with no change.CheersJohn Cornish

The problem is that the 2D panel is designed for widescreen displays only and not for 4:3 monitors. I faintly remember that it's somehow possible to instruct FSX to use a certain multiplier for x and y sizes for a given [window] section in panel.cfg (i.e. without resizing the gauges manually, you can use a "correction factor" to make them fit)... (did this successfully a while ago in the Simcheck A300 before they released a 2D panel in 4:3)... but I'm not sure whether this is correct... Maybe you need to manually resize gauges and backgrounds (if the gauges allow this)... The lack of a 4:3 panel is the main reason I didn't purchase yet... Maybe it's possible with much work to adapt the existing panel to 4:3...
