I have exactly the same problem of batera86... I have try to edit dll.xml or fsx.config... but same result ! I have contacted pmdg support...I wait a response.

I had also the same problem as batera86 and after try a lot of things, I finaly fix the problem. I have installed "dxwebsetup" for Windows7 from the Microsoft site and also stopped my antivirus during installation. Now no more freezing of the sim. I may now appreciate the 737NGX, a wonderful aircraft. Hope my suggestion will help you Good luck ClaudeQuebec

But now I'm dealing with another problem.When I'm flying with NGX, after about 15 minutes, FSX freezes totally.I have to press Ctrl+Alt+Del to close FSX and reboot the PC.Did you guys have another idea of what's happening? SP2 or accexeration for FSX is required for the NGX! See the system requirements on the product page.
