ILS Procedure

Featured Replies

Can someone give an ILS procedure to land while doing circuits? I entered the ILS freq, course, enabled app mode with CMD A on and it did not land, however the glide slope and localiser indicators were displayed around the attitude indicator.Nick

You need both CMD A and CMD B in order for the ILS autoland to work. CMD A can't land itself.

Yes. Also, make sure aside from CMDs, you have both radios tuned to the ILS frequency and both couse windows set on the ILS course. Then, only activate CMD B after CMD A starts to intercept the glideslope.

Might you also have to tune the Nav 2 to the ILS frequenzy. Then set both (Captains and FOs) course selectors to the runway heading. And then land wink.png
