  1. I wish someone would make a poll about this... in that manner we'll see which is the most challenging airport you have flown with the NGX...
  2. Seen some 737NG landing there at Just Planes... Airport is like an aircraft carrier with no room for error...
  3. I have found the culprit of this problem - the recent update to SP1b.What I did was to uninstall and performed a clean installation of NGX then applied the SP1 update. Now it was again possible to load flights through RC4 or even the default load flight function (without using RC4). I am still puzzled though what in SP1b is causing the conflict. For now, I will have to hold on to SP1 because of this glitch.
  4. I also had a recent flight with the PMDG 747-8i, with the latest FSUIPC installed and RC4. No problems loading with saved flights though. That's why I think the recent update with SP1b for NGX has something to do with the problem.
  5. The flight was made after SP1b update, maybe the livery has something to do with it (El Al 737-800 WL livery).
  6. Hi,After installing SP1B, I have a problem loading a saved flight through RC4.Have used RC4 with NGX always and have no problem loading saved flights before. Any helpful tips? Thanks,Roy Joven T. Benzonan
  7. Tried browsing through it but I don't know where to look exactly...
  8. Hi all, I'd like to know the following about the NGX: max zero fuel weight max takeoff weightmax taxi weightmax landing weightrangemax cruise altitudenormal cruise speedmax seating capacity Thanks.
  9. I agree... I used to do the same back in YouTube. But this is just one exceptional video - very relaxing music... Great job!
  10. Thank I agree. Thank God Hong Kong has a long runway. Could'nt even notice the flare...
  11. Hi guys, I would like to know which add-ons you would and would not recommend for use with the NGX. Also please indicate the effect such add-ons on your frame rates. Thank you.
  12. By the way, I've gained a deeper understanding of the NGX after reading the tutorial; applied the procedures on my last leg from VHHH-RPLL. First, using the step climb feature in the FMC climb page. Second, using the DES NOW feature on the descent page. Again, thank you for the helpful information Tom!
  13. Finally found and downloaded the file... Thanks a lot Tom! Great job!
  14. Nice to hear from you Tom. Could you please past the link here? Thanks...
  15. Yes, I also had better frame rates back in the 747 and yup, it just feels different...
  16. Nice video... Noticed some wind gusts and slight crosswinds on final...
  17. Flown a leg from OMDB-WSSS using the 747 today, flight duration: 7 hours. It took me a few minutes to re-familiarize the panel/switch locations. The plane still handles beautifully.
  18. I of course know that the two models are very much different and are subject to their own weight limitations.
  19. I agree... If you watch World Air Routes (Just Planes) videos, the captains usually spool engines then press the TOGA switch, but never go full thottles.
  20. I have noticed with the landing gear down and the flaps at landing configuration, the wind sound seems to be overwhelming that I can barely hear RC4. Is there a way to reduce/adjust this?
  21. An advantage of the 747 over the NGX is that it has the VOR autotune feature and the model has less tendency to float over the runway.
  22. By the way Tom, since the release of HF4, the terrain mode is now available at the F/O panel... Make sure you update this on your next release.
