August 13, 201114 yr Hi all,Having flown the MD-11 since its release the greatest difference I noticed to with the NGX was the slowing down after T/D.It takes much more time, you really struggle to achieve it and you use a lot more speed brakes. Any same impressions on that? Christos
August 13, 201114 yr Just be careful when you meet your crossing restrictions which is either based on your STAR charts, or as per ATC. If you have a steep descent crossing 10,000 feet and your speed is above 250 knots, it is necessary to deploy your speedbrakes. FMC will also warn you of a incoming steep descent or possible unachievable overspeed so keep your eyes peeled. Blue skies... Roy Joven T.
