I can tell you that FSX, even with lower settings, taxed my PC hard. Heck, it still does! I'm pretty sure you're pushing it too hard. What kind of frame rates are you getting before the BSOD? What are your scenery/traffic (if any) settings? Did you use Bojote's (*******'s) CFG tweaker? ___________________________________________________________________________________ Zachary Waddell -- Caravan Driver -- Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/zwaddell Avsim ToS Avsim Screenshot Rules

Hey. I talked with guys that have lower PC specs than mine that run the NGX without problems. I am getting about 15-17 FPS on the ground inside the VC. Traffic sets to 0%. Default scenery. And yes, I tweaked my cfg with Bojote's site, and I added few tweaks that are not included in his tweaker.
August 15, 201114 yr are you running REX with high resolution textures? those + NGS + demanding addon scenery liks ORBS can be a killer. try to lower the REX resolution then to 1024. helped me, no more OOM or BSOD Phil Leaven i5 10600KF, 32 GB 3200 RAM, ASUS 4070 12GB EVO, Asus ROG Z490-H, 2 WD Black NVME for each Win11 (500GB) and MSFS (1TB), Rolling Cache 16GB, Photogrammetry always OFF, Live Weather and Live Traffic always ON, Res 2560x1440 on 27"
August 15, 201114 yr Author No Rex or ORBX. I am using the freeware HDE for cloud textures and a freeware addon by Cielosim for the asphalt and concrete.
August 15, 201114 yr Author After a second test with Hot Fix 2, FSX seems to be a little bit lighter for the system. No BSOD right now. I will update if there is anything new.
