New land in the north

Hi guys, I´ve discovered land up in the north while I tested some tweaks to an AFCAD in Barrow, Alaska. Took off and headed north and after some minutes over the sea I saw this giant thing. It loolks like it´s made of one mountain texture over and over again. screenshot111Kopie.jpg Is this a bug or something known?

Near the pole? I know FS9 has issues near the poles. Never tested it myself mind you.

Yes, it´s near the norh pole. The FS map shows a vast white land. But Plan-g and google earth show sea.
