Slow responce in RC window

Featured Replies

Hi All, I have a small problem with RC4.3 in FSX - Sometimes the window appears to lock up, and the commands stop working. Or it just goes incredibly slow. For instance, If I press 9 to go to the next menu, sometimes, it works normally and happens instantly, sometimes I have to wait several seconds and then it works, or sometimes just nothing happens at-all. When it completely freezes the only way that I have found to make it work again is to open up the FSUIPC menu and close it again, and that usually brings it back to life again. I have the same problem when trying to communicate with the controllers. I'll press, say, 7 to acknowledge, however it will take a good 5 - 10 seconds before anything happens at-all. Can anyone help me? Regards

I was having the same problem and this solved my problem.

I had the same problem a few months ago. It was my anti virus causing it. I was running CA anti virus, I switched my anti virus program and it started working like it should.

Thanks

Haha, I managed to figure out what it was. After several flights thinking that it was broken. I realised that it only seemed to happen after I changed view via a 2d panel that comes included with FS2CREW - I didn't realise that once clicking this you then had to click somewhere within the VC to get FSUIPC to capture keyboard presses! Working a charm now. Thanks all
