Ok here is the situation......Tried to do a flight from Prague (PRG) to Paris (CDG) using the FFX 737-500, todays date, a Prague airport scenery, and downloaded real world weather. After take off from runway 24 about 5 minutes into the flight FS2004 CTD happens.Just now I tried this.......started at Prague airport with airport scenery, in summer, using the default 737, and no downloaded weather. Now after take off from runway 24 Im expecting the CTD to happen, but the CTD never happened. So (in flight) I changed the plane back to the FFX 737-500 no CTD, I changed the time back to todays date and no CTD, then I loaded the real world weather and as soon as I did FS2004 crashes to desktop.Maybe I found something here??

I think this is the same seasonal landclass bug mentioned in numerous other posts. The fact that changing date is a factor seems to point that way.

Some of my CTDs show weather.dll in the error report. That could have something to do with either the downloaded weather or the season. What do you think?Lee

I don't think weather.dll would have much to do with seasons. it could be from downloaded weather but i think that's pretty rare.

I think these CTD have to do with a combination of where your flying and downloaded weather.Later Im going to try this flight again, but not use downloaded weather. If the CTD does not happen I will load the downloaded weather when Im over Germany and see is I can continue to Paris.

Well it worked! I took off from Prague with no downloaded weather and left it like that until I was near the Frace border, when I downloaded the real world weather I was able to contine to Paris with no problems.

I wasn't having CDT's until I started flying in December-Real downloaded weather was snow-Flying up the Columbia River Gorge from Portland to Hood River was real pretty in winter-the surrounding mountains looke good in snow until-crash-CDT-Now I do have addons such as AFCAD airports, FS genesis West Coast terrain mesh, Fs genesis US landclass, planes,etc. I would get CDT's also with selected winter snow weather themes. I uninstalled just one thing, Fs genesis US landclass-no CDT's under all winter snow weather themes and real downloaded weather that had snow. I then reinstalled Fs genesis US landclass and flew under winter snow weather themes without incident for two days. The default flight was a snow theme but not real weather out of a small airport south of Portland. Just went to fly the sim a half hour ago and it would CDT at startup at about 54% loaded. Did this three times-Uninstalled US landclass again from the uninstall utility outside the sim and Fs9 loaded prefectly to the snowy default flight-Have been flying up the gorge to Hood River with no incidence of a CDT

I'm pretty sure the landclass add-on is just forcing the seasonal CTD to show up. Have you tried running with the landclass installed AND the TERRAIN.CFG edits?
