August 27, 201114 yr I never use the 2D panel now. I remeber back when CS removed the 2D panel from the 757 and there was an uproar.Now,with TrackIR, it's unthinkable to go back to 2D. August 27, 201114 yr I use to be an avid 2d panel guy but since the NGX came out ive converted to 3d..well kind of, i still use some 2D panels like FMC and maybe the overhead to set the flight up but other than that i use the virtual cockpit. I would recommend Ezdok though as it makes it so much easier to navigate the virtual cockpit.
