Naples photoreal scenery - Question

Featured Replies

Has anyone tried this?Just wondering about the impact on fluidity/frame rates.Thanks.

Just wonderfulrino

No problem with frame rates. Only little annoyance is that the photoreal textures do not blend all that well with the stock textures. I also recommend the LIRN scenery found in the same site. Very light and very accurate...With kindest regards,

Thank you Rino and Vassilis. Will download this evening (including LIRN:) ).

I also recommend the LIRN scenery found in the same site. Very light and very accurate...You mean as a replacement of the photoreal scenery or complementary?Isn't it duplicating the airport?Stamatis

yeah, they could have put in 2 more minutes to match the texture hues with the surrounding areas. bummer!otherwise, it's a blast! negligible effect on fps and hey, who the heck designed capri without the faraglioni in the default scenery? :)

Stamatis,The photoreal scenery is just replacement ground textures for the city of Naples, nothing else. The LIRN scenery is a complete makeover of the default LIRN, therefore it sits on top of the photoreal stuff.Kali Chronia,

Oh I see. Thank you and Kali Chronia to you too!Stamatis

HI,I used to live in the area.... Sorrento to be exact. It's a fantastic scenery. However you need to download the naplesbuildings scenery to compliment it, along with the LIRN airport.Get the buildings here http://www.napulevola.it/ Cheers, Paul ( SPIM )
