August 31, 201114 yr Hallo, I really need some help here because it's driving me crazy....... I'm unable to silence my VOR1..... it just keeps beeping as soon as i tune to a station which is within reach..... I've read the other posts here and tried the suggested solutions but nothing seems to help, I tried to press "Q", went to the outside view and did the "Q" also already uninstalled EZDOK and reinstalled..... no change, VOR1 just beeps...... also loading of different pannel states or a different planes, to make shure that VOR1 ident is off didn't do the trick..... I have Ctl1 through Ctl9 assigned to views in EZDOK but have deleted the keycommands for VOR ident in FSX so that should not be the problem.... exept they would be hard coded? Any other suggestions? regardsOberwinkler Richard Just my 2 cent's ____________________________________________________Richard Oberwinkler
August 31, 201114 yr Have you tried to select NAV1 and/or 2 OFF on the audio selector panels? Not sure if they are working as I've not tried them. The audio selector panels are the panels with audio volume, mic/audio source and there are 3 panels in the cabin, 2 on the pedestal, one on the P5 overhead panel (aft) for observer. Regards Andrea Daviero
August 31, 201114 yr I had the same problem - the source of it was that I defined ctrl-3 shortcut for EZDOK, which happens to be assigned to NAV1/2 IDENT as default FSX key binding. hope this helps, Jakub Szewczyk
August 31, 201114 yr Author Hi, Thank for the replay. The audio pannel, i tried, if i set the VOR1 ident to audio I get 2 VOR ident beeping (different tones, same morse code).... if I switch it of, one stays one goes...... For the EZDOK.... well I also defined Ctrl-3 for ezdok, but I deleted the FSX assignment which defaults to VOR1 ident on/off...... so actually it should not do anything.......... regardsrichard Just my 2 cent's ____________________________________________________Richard Oberwinkler
September 1, 201114 yr Id check its actually deleted - FSX as habbit of doing its own thing - it wont have saved it also if you didnt shut FSX down properly. If you go into your controls file you will be able to check if its there after a shut down of FSX (wait at least 30 secs before opening this file fsx slow at unloading itself) Regards James Carr
