January 9, 200422 yr Do you have the msxml4 pack installed. If not, search at Microsoft for msxml.msi, download and double click on the file. Once you have the msxml4 pack installed bglcomp should work properly. If you have the BGLCOMP_SDK try one of the sample to see if it will compile. In the Excluder folder, you need:ExcBuilderV2.exebglcomp.exebglcomp.xsdW. Sieffert Bill Sieffert
January 10, 200422 yr Author hi,dont think i have that insalled, should have read the sdk instructions more carefully, will give it a try now.thanks for the answer.
January 10, 200422 yr Have no idea if this is the problem but here is a message that I posted at the Lago forums that seem to have solved one person's issue:I have been using ExcBuilder with success if I remember one important point...Be sure that the areas you set in ExcBuilder are the Northwest and Southeast corners of the exclude area. If you are marking them in the overhead view, press the Spacebar to correctly orient North as up. If I forget this and mark, let's say, the Northeast and Southwest corners, the bgl file is not built.Hope this helps.
January 12, 200422 yr I installed the sdk to the same folder as excbuilder and it works like a charm! After trying to get a building off of my local airport's parking ramp using every other program out there, I finally succeeded with this simple utility! Thank you all!Best,sg [email protected] | 32gb RAM | EVGA GTX1080 8gb | Mostly P3Dv5 (also IL2:BoX, DCS, XP11)
