I was saw OPT ALT more than MAX ALT in fmc for two times,this is normal!?Like OPT 361 / MAX358.

All I can say is I honestly never seen that is in the real thing.

I've seen that as well, then it changes once you reach cruise, pre flight planning issue?EB Wallace

Before takeoff in reference page,i set cruise alt is FL350,OPT alt was increase alt to FL360 after i reach cruise alt.Then i re-set cruise alt to FL360,during climb to FL360 MAX alt decrease to FL358.

got it as well about 2 or 3 times... i suspect a wrong combination of total GW and CI or something like that
