September 3, 201114 yr The preview desktop working has stopped working for me. I can still click it and minimize all programs, but I don't have the transparent preview option. I now trying to reinstall my graphics drivers but windows keeps on interfering by installing drivers of it's own. Any suggestions? Alfredo Terrero
September 3, 201114 yr You should be able to cancel windows loading drivers. I don't think it's a driver issue, anyway. Right-click the taskbar and you'll see a show desktop option. In that same menu, select Properties, and you'll see options for desktop preview. Also, from the Start Button, right-click Computer, select Properties, Advanced System Settings, and you will see performance settings. I use Let Windows Decide. Good luck. Bob Bob i5, 16 GB ram, GTX 960, FS on SSD, Windows 10 64 bit, home built works anyway.

BobThanks for the suggestions Bob. My preview desktop option under the taskbar properties was already ticked, so I went to the performance settings page you recommended. I had the let windows choose what's best for my computer (which had thumbnail previews disabled for some reason). I then clicked on best appearance, then on let windows choose what's best for my computer, and my problem has been fixed. Alfredo Terrero
