September 4, 201114 yr Author Well which file should I put in the scenery/world/scenery folder? towerdude
September 4, 201114 yr Assuming that the file you are referring to is aig_winter_2008-2009_fedex.zip by Alpha-India Group you have to compile the Aircraft, Airport, and Flightplan files with AI Flight Planner. The compiled file created will be the traffic .bgl file which you will place in the scenery\world\scenery folder. Mike Mann
September 4, 201114 yr Yes you can use TTools. Just remember that the traffic .bgl that TTools produces will be FS2004 compatible. A FS2004 traffic file will work with FSX but it will suppress any FSX traffic files that you might have installed. You can use AI Flight Planner to change the TTools FS2004 traffic file into a FSX compatible traffic file. Mike Mann
September 5, 201114 yr ? They are part of the traffic.bgl. They tell the AI Planes when to depart from and where to fly to, when and how often.
September 5, 201114 yr Author Would I actually see the aircraft at the airport? Because the planes from FedEx aren't showing up. towerdude
September 5, 201114 yr The aircraft will only show if all of the following conditions are met: 1. The aircraft used in the flight plan exist in your FSX aircraft folder.2. The flight plans include the airport you are trying to view the aircraft and at the current time that you are there.3. There is sufficient and suitable parking for the aircraft at the airport. Also, where am I supposed to find a whole bunch of old and new textures for FedEx? towerdude
September 5, 201114 yr If all three points I made are not fully understood then I highly recommend that you read the documentation for TTools. Mike Mann
September 5, 201114 yr Author I understood your first point, but not the 2nd and 3rd points. When I compile everything in TTools, will the aircraft show up in the game? towerdude
September 5, 201114 yr You never did answer my question in a previous post; "are the flight plans you are working with the ones contained in aig_winter_2008-2009_fedex.zip by Alpha-India Group"? Mike Mann
September 5, 201114 yr Author The flight plans are the ones contained in the aig_winter 2008-2009 FedEx.zip. About the first point. Do I have to download the planes and put them in my aircraft folder? towerdude
