September 14, 201114 yr Hi all! I've searched for this, but can't seem to find anything similar. I create my flightplans with fscommander and then insert the waypoints in the fmc, but some of them come up with the error "waypoint not in database".This can be solved by updating the database right? But how does one do this? Thanks! Peter Aerts
September 14, 201114 yr You can buy navdata updates for both Flightsim Commander and the NGX from Navigraph: http://www.navigraph.com/www/default.asp Just make sure FSC and the NGX use the same navdata version and you are set. Tom Risager NGX tutorial: http://library.avsim.net/sendfile.php?Location=AVSIM&Proto=ftp&DLID=162360 SIDs & STARs Worked Examples: LOWI-UUDD, KSEA-KLAX, EKCH-ENGM, YSCB-YPAD
September 14, 201114 yr If you know the lat long of the waypoint, you can put that in instead as well. Rick Butler Rainbow Lake Alberta, Canada
September 15, 201114 yr Another tip is use the Shift+Z which will bring up the present longitude and latitude and this can also be used to input a waypoint as suggested by namesake Rick. Rick Almeida
