Good Scenery For FS2004

Featured Replies

What is the best scenery for FS2004 that is FRAMERATE FRIENDLY and is precise. This is for any place in north america. I Don't care which city state etc. It has to be for FS2004

If your looking for airports for North America you cant really go wrong with FSDreamteam and FlyTampa. Both make very good sceneries that are FPS friendly. Some of the Imaginesim stuff is not bad either but not on the same level as the other two I mentioned. If you want really FPS friendly but with a lack of artistry and detail look to BluePrint Simulations.

I agree - you cannot go wrong with FSDT and FlyTampa. The new Imaginesime scenery for KDEN is moving up the scale of quality - not quite there yet with the FSDT.FlytTampa guys but getting there. Cloud9 are older sceneries but there are two that are still on par with the best of today - KDCA and KLAX, There are also some great freeware products. Look for anything by Shez Anshary (I think I just spelled it wrong - sorry Shez!) ... There are amazing freeware products for Meigs airport, for Glen Falls in NY state, Pellston in Michigan and an amazing freeware airport for KPHL. All four of these are absolutely payware quality - but free. For another freeware US scenery, get Glacier Bay 2 from Holger Sandmann. AMAZING! Though I cannot vouch for their frame rates, Just Flight have a bunch of older Imagine Sim US airports on sale right now - check out World Airports and World Airports Vol 3. You get quite a collection for only $11 or so...CheersIan
