aircraft with the same name messages

Featured Replies

Hi All I am getting very frustrated with my sim---i have been a simmer for thirty years and I usually just sort of work out problems one way or another---BUT--these two issues are making me nuts and I need some help! I am back flying my virtual after a long awaited rebuild--and # 1 My sim is giving me 9 different same aircraft with the same name messages every time I star yup---these messages are for Capt Sim planes and Wilco Airbus planes---when I try to fly these planes I usually (but not every time) get a system crash! #2 I have been trying to learn how to fly the Airbus planes for years but can never seem to find the right tutorial---I have mastered the Boeing fleet due to all the understandable teaching material---I just can't seem to find the airbus tutorials that make sense to a dumkoff like me---any help will be a godsend Cheers Dorn

I guess no help on these issues

Fsx only reads the first 30 letters (or something to that effect) so if the first letters in your CFG are the same you get the error. For example XXXred and XXXblue and so on. You need to rename the aircraft in the CFG and rebuild any AI files for the names you change
