Thanks Mike Yes I understand why to go to the PMDG Forum for the 737 question---The memory crashes have always been an issue with PMDG products---I just thought that someone might have a new thought concerning V3---I did not really have this issue much with V2.5. The connie issue is a Prepar issue tho and have been waiting to see if others have fixed this problem. I love the Connie---My first commercial flight was on a connie in 1951--- At eight years of age I was being sent from San Francisco to Ontario for a month of summer camp and flew from San Francisco to Midway on a TWA Connie---At that time SFO still had the outdoor wooden boarding gates that you see in the Movie "The High and Mighty". I remember being sat next to a soldier returning home from Korea and looking out the window for eight hours straight.

Hi All, First---why does my Saitek X-55 Rhino controler not work with the Prepar V3 Generic L-1049 and work perfectly with all the other Generic Prepar V3 aircraft? Why do all my PMDG 737's and 777" cause Prepar v3 to stop running after about One and a half to two hours of flight---this is a bummer for flying in my virtual airline. Michael, I have the Adelaide X but looking for something more involved like the Fly Tampa or FSDreamteam and FlightBeam stuff . Is all flying at your Qantas Virtual Airline done with Vatsim---or can you fly off Vatsim—I am not a big fan of Vatsim because it is often sketchy with coverage and I love my PRO ATC with tons of real life chatter on vaus routes.

Thank You Gentlemen, I am going to go into aerosoft support---have not had much luck there in the past--but never say never--I know that when I loaded up the Black Box Airbus the first thing that I needed to do was calibrate the throttle through a Menu LSK on the MCDU-- (this was Highlighted in RED on the first page of the Manual and the Training Tutorial as well) do you know is this is also necessary on the Aerosoft 320/321 version? Michael I see that you are an Orbx supporter---I just put a stunning Orbx Alice Springs Airport in my sim this week (filling in a lot of little airports to go with my Global/Vector/Aus Orbx Scenery0—but I was only able to find a rather funky Scenery for the Adelaide Airport---I see that you are a member of Qantas Virtual and thought you might know of a good Adelaide scenery---or any other Australian airports of high quality---I have over 1800 hrs. with my Virtual but most of my Qantas Flight are international (not all of course)—I am now starting to fill in and fly all the Qantas/Jet Star Domestic routes and really learn the Geography of Australia. I am a retired guy and once I feel as if I really have a handle of the Local geography I think I will take myself and my wife on a 30+ day of touring around Australia. Off to the Aerosoft site! Thanks Michael, I am trying to become proficient with the Airbus so that I can fly all the Jetstar routes for my FTG Virtual Airline (Qantas Group QF001). I have put this off over the years---I am a retired pilot but never had any Airbus time (It’s all Greek to me). I bought the Aerosoft version but the Saitek X-52 Rhino Throttle Quad will not work with that sim. I bought the Black Box airbus which will work but I cannot find a way to update the Airac Data Base. Navigraph does not produce a data base for black box.—so I am looking for another product---Navigraph does make an Air Simmer Data Pack but it looks like the product will not work with Prepar. Michael, Thanks for the reply---I sort of felt this way myself---I flew the flight again and did not have any problems---I did a complete arac data update using Nav Data Pro---the ILS for 4R at PHNL is 110.50 and I might have put in 110.10--can not remember but the second flight went with no issues Cheers Dorn Cranert

Hi All, I just bought the new 737 NGX for Prepar v2.5 and set up a quick flight from KBUR to PHNL---I had a nav (ILS off to the Left) upon landing and then during the Taxi in the program froze (I asume this was a OOM issue)---I shut down the sim and will refly after I post this Help request. I never get any OOM with the T7 (I did a 15.5 hr Freighter flight real time yesterday with no problems)---any help will be welcomed ---I am using Prepare total bare bones while I work out possible bugs0----no scenery---just registered copy of FSUIPC. Hi All. Help!!! I have been working on this problem for a couple of weeks and am going crazy. I am trying to export from PFPX into PMDG 777 prepar version using preparv2.5 My plans will not go into the correct PMDG folders---but the do go into the correct Prepar folders---This is a problem directing to correct route of the export--this is , I know a PFPX issue----BUT!! when I try and copy the route file (the one sent to prepar ) and then paste it into the PMDG 777 flight plans folder and then rename it from say SAEZSBFL.route to SAEZSBFL.RTE (this to match the plans made by hand inside the aircraft FMC and then saved)----the plans will show up when route request is selected but they will not load---only the hand made plans will load up I hope someone can help me here---I love this aircraft Cheers Dorn Cranert

Sorry---- must have been thinking of the Ifly 737's That is what I was flying in Prepar v4 while I waited for Prepar v2.5 and the New PMDG Prepar version-----I have not been flying PMDG stuff in Prepar---now I will once again---I must have just assumed that it was possible.

Hi All I just bought the new prepar T7 and i am having trouble selecting the Pilot CRT and the Nav crt and the overhead and undocking them to pull into different monitors---i was able to do this before no problem v4. I have 5 30 inch monitors and usually fly using all of them in some sort of configuration---I can enlarge the Pilot screen by clicking on it---but I can not undock it like I can with the cdu or the mcp Thanks for any help here with these issues Cheers Dorn Cranert

I see no replys for a couple of hours---hope for some small interest in this question---I need to be able to import some pre made plans into the fmc---having big trouble getting them in via PFPX and ProATC--that said I could still manually copy and pase them if I knew what folders PMDG and Prepar stored these flight plans.

Hi All, I have been away from the sim for a few months and at my age (Old) this makes very rusty with sim things when I return---so I need a little help. I just set up my new 2.5 version of Prepar and I bought a copy of the PMDG T7---I am finding it very difficult getting the flight plans I make on Pro ATC and or PFPX to load up in the T7 FMC. I have moved the files manually into what I thinks are the correct PMDG folder (you know PMDG flight plans 777 etc etc.) but they will not load (FMC/CDU says file not found when you request a flight plan or try to load via the company route select key.. I have made some simple hand done routes in the T7 fmc and saved them and they end up in my Users folder in a file called VEE routes but even these will no load up when I request them after saving them----is there some trick or place in Prepar v2.5 where these files can be place/stored/and then found and loaded. I hope I have been clear enough---I love the way this new version flies---flew all the way from Ksfo to Rjaa with no OOM---but there are no third party programs loaded yet Cheers and thanks for any help---off to a Dry apt---something all old people much too often do ---but then again there may be a fix waiting for me upon my return Thanks again for any help Dorn
