Thanks---seems as if the FTX Global might be better than the Mega 2.0 but I will need to wait and see---My Mega Scenery 2.0 is very blurry

Hi All I just bought Global and am going to install when the download is finished---I have almost all the MEGA 2.0 stuff and use it for a lot of USA Flights---is the 2.0 stuff compatible or should I remove it when using The Global Scenery? Cheers and Happy Winter Holiday Season to All!!! Dorn

Hi All---Happy Thanksgiving, I am going crazy with this problem---!!! I have been working on my sim to set up and fly super nice Virtual Airline flights on the West Coast using Shade, and Mega Scenery 2.0, and PMDG NGX 737's and RC, and REX, and my virtual Airline ACARS--when I get this all set up and ready to fly my Joystick disconnects and only the mouse shows up when I go to the FSX controls page---I thought it was my Saitek X-52 so I bought a new Logitech Pro, but the same problem still exists.---so depressing and cannot find any help anywhere on the net---anybody have an answer to this issue? I have figured out how to get the dll and osx files---I figured out how to run the command window in Admin mode and I was able to install the files that the program was asking for---but the rc4 would still not run---soooo- I uninstalled and reinstalled d rcV4.3 and all went well--it asked me to put in the msst dll file and I did that everything worked out well--now I am waiting for my key---how long does that take? Thanks to all who have helped me here---I know that this is "Old Hat" to most of you on this forum but people still need help with this issue---so many thanks for the effort Dorn

I tried to do what the link instructed but the file will not load--will try again in the AM---thanks for the help---just do not know how to do this---been simming for over thirty years but this reprograming of RC gets me every time I need to do a full reinstall of my FSX

Hi All, I know that this is old and boring ground for most knowledgeable RC users---but for me it is not---I have been working on my sim for months--getting it almost there and then falling back ten steps--this time I am running it at the best rate in over 25 years (going back to the Mac Classic stick figure version)--but I cannot fix the missing dill problem--nor can I understand what is published on the pinned "unregistered dll " post----does anybody have a copy of a "rc for dummies" post that is step by step for the computer programming illiterate. I apologize for asking for this but I have been trying for many hours to get my RC back up and functional and am at my wits end!! Thanks Cheers Dorn

I just spent the last few days at my Computer Guru's Store and we worked on my FSX program/my win8 system/my AMD ATI card and I got my sim running better tha it ever has--actually spectacular results with the help of Froogle and FSX Genius---but when I Started up RC 4 I got this message 'comdlg32.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid What to do? Thanks for all the kind support here--already saved my downloads to a couple of safe places---also for got that I BOUGHT A cd COPY OF THE NGX a year ago---too much computer Sim stuff in my house and in my Brain!!!

Thanks for the response---I found the original downloads after a few hours of searching---so all is well except that my new instillation of fsx has failed for one reason or another about ten times

Hi All, I have an intermittent bug with my T7 and my Saitek X52---sometimes (about 6 or7 out of 10) my Saitek X52 will freeze/quit when I start to push back from the gate/check spot view when I begin a flight. This is really depressing as sometimes I have spent as much as an hour with the pre-flight work up to the push time. What happens is that the X52 freezes and when I go to the controls page under options I find that the X52 has disappeared and there is only "mouse yoke" left to choose.---sometimes this does not happen--I have flow some flights without looking outside just because I do not want to lose the pre-flight work---anybody else experience this issue or have any ideas on fixing the problem--all Ideas are welcome. I do not think that this is a memory issue like many other T7 problems---I still have the "no textures showing" issue when using the spot view about half the time at first boot--If the boot lets me see the outside textures then they usually remain for the entire flight even if the flight is over 16 hours long.---the combination of the X52 issues and the textures really makes flying this aircraft for my Virtual Airline problematic, since this must be done step by step and so much time is lost due to these errors---I know this or "these" problems are T7 related since none of them occur with any other aircraft--all other PMDG planes (I own them all many times over) work fine as do all the good Airbus variants and the Majestic DH8. I also get a situation about 5 out of ten times where the texture do not show in the spot view--people say to use the HIGHMEMFIX=1 Config addition but it does not seem to work very well---it is sort of hit and miss with that fix. KEWR/WSSS SQ21 is 18 hours and 30 minutes---we fly it in our virtual but SQ uses the 340-500--the 777-300ER will do it if PMDG makes the model

This is a very cool product for My virtual airline flying--but it is very deep in it's capabilities--it is simple to use but there is much more to it than meets the eye---it is a six month learn

I am a new user of PFPX---I may not be understanding how to put the FL information in correctly---I have been making it work by putting in the information in the controller box prior to each flight

Thanks Ronzie and JD---I changed the FL (which was 0) in the controllers box and then RC started to work again---I will do some different flights today and see how things are working out. Cheers Dorn

My RC has stopped giving voice commands---example-"climb and maintain (blank--no voice) squawk 2324"---it does this with all altitude commands/transmissions---seems like a file is missing or something!! Cheers and thanks for any help Dorn
