Hi All, I have spent the past week or so trying to find out how to import a Pointsoft Pro ATC flight plan into the FMC/MCDU od the Aerosoft Airbus Extended x A320/321. I have almost gone loco at this point---can anyone help me find the ansewer/technique? At this point I can't even get into the Pointsoft/ProATC forum--(just keep getting an error message.---No ansewers on the Aerosoft forum--trying here and then at my VA. Hi Ray, Well---I just opened my email and there it was ----two copies of the Key--ready to go---so now I can re-install my RC (if I can remember how to correct the Dll issue) and then I can do a lot of contrasting and compairing---thanks again for your work here and you kind, thoughtful, replies. Ray, Thanks for the nice reply---I have tried to get my reg key for three or four days now---I have always ben a big fan of RC and all the work and cool imagination that went into developing the product---I am however tired of this reg and dil hassel so for the time being I am going to bid farewell to RC---I bought a product from a different developer and it is both more robust than RC and seems for the time being to work with a better "full imersion"---we will see as time goes by---I can always buy a new copy of RC if the "new Car" seems to loose it's luster. Ray, I respect that you are not helping on the forum to work on reg issues-- but where should one go for help? I just reinstalled RC yesterday and am having problems getting a key--- looking around for help and am not sure where to go to get it. RC is a great part of my sim life but it is (one must admitt) somewhat difficult to get re-installed---first there is the reg problem which is never simple---i have done it many times due to FSX being fragile in the first place, and in most cases the key issue was a bit of a problem---over the years I have re-purchased the program 5 or 6 times to solve the key issue----I always get an email telling me I do not need to do that, but here we are once again at the same place---I can not get an ansewer to my key request----(I fill in my info in the auto send box and then no key returns) I have used the same email since the first time I bought RC 1 ----then there is the issue of all the problems of the dll tinkering that is difficult for many users (myself included). I bought a copy of the QW 757 yesterday so that I could help a new simmer learn to fly it---I am not at all knowledgeable about QW--just needed the plane so that I could learn it and teach the systems to my friend---BUT--today when I went back to download a Delta Livery for him00lo and behold noe quality web site shows up---is this some funky outfit that I got myself mixed up with?---can anybody fill me in? Mark what is p#D and how high is the rez on yr monitors---I take it that " a single Titan" is a video card--is that correct? Thanks and cheers Dorn

Thanks DaddyBooks I have been playing around with this problem for weeks now---I have taken the whole deal down a few pegs for the time being and now am just trying to get three monitors to work well---even this is a problem (I get all sorts of weird diagonal paterens in the windows when I run a main view and two side views)--this must be a memory issue (I thought that two 760 cards with 2 gigs of onboard memory on each card would solve this issue)---I am going to call Nvidia tech support and ask how to make sure that my Video cards are helping process as much of the fsx video as possible---!!! It took me weeks to rearange my office for this new cool looking sim setup---my wife was even suportive in that it made all the wires in the office sort of disappear---but now I need to make it work!!! I am sorry---I just bought these two new 760 2 gig cards for my new sim setup--my previous card was an older high end ATI card with 1 gig onboard--this new 750 card seems better (a little bit) but I have not done any real technicaly definitive tests to verify that hunch---

sorry to take so long to reply. i have a do do list for a friend happening at the moment----but yes 5 30 inchers and a 19 for the glass pilot/nav displays---i had it all running on the ms fsx stock 737---then ran the PMDG and of course crashed the system---now having trouble with all the aircraft--will fininsh my chores and get into this issue later toaday or this evening--- thanks for the replies cheers dorn

Posted Today, 04:24 AM Hi All, I have spent years thinking about upgrading my one 30 inch flight sim monitor into a multi monitor array---and two months ago i took the financial plunge and bought 4 more 30 inchers and a 19 inch monitor and built a hot new computer with all the power and bells and whistles as well as two new Nvidia 760 Video cards with two gig of video on board each card and spent the next 40 days re-doing my office and my garage to handle the new set up---it has been an exausting period and I am really tired---the new set up looks great and my friends and neighbors are impressed with the new look flight sim---(no more ugly wires everwhere0----BUY alas as cool as my new set up looks the system is not running well---I have all new insalation of FSX--with sp2 acceleration pack and Reg copy of fsuipc--the computer is good---(I have been doing this for over twenty years and have gone down all the roads to getting a good working sim---did the froogle sim tweeks and the FSXGenius tweeks and the HIGHTMEMFIX=1 stuff---But---and this is really my present problem and question---when I drag secondary windows to the other monitors it crashes the sim--last week I was getting multiple windows of work but now I might work on one other monitor but crash if I try two others---I bought a Matrox tripple head to go and that does work but I hate it because it is hust a big strech of one window and is distorted and at a res much lower the my nice 30 inch 2500 by 1600 which makes my good scenery so imersive and exciteing. I am hopeing that some one here can and help wisdow and understnding to my sim inteligence. Thanks ans Cheers Dorn

I am not as technically able as most of you---but I just set up a new sim in my office with five big monitors and can not drag seperate views to all the other monitors witout a crash--I can do this with generic aircraft but not PMDG planes--is this a problem I can fix---I am running the monitors out via two new GeForce 760's vis 4 DVI out and one Display port out. I appologize if this is off topic but no one would ansewer this question on the general PMDG forum Cheers Dorn

Hi All, I apologize if this has been asked and ansewered. But!!----I have been building a big, nice complex flight sim setup with wall mounted monitors and the whole Go Flight/Saitek flight instruments--the whole bit--cool--but I can not move my PMDG secondary screens around to different monitors like I can with generic FSX aircraft---I get black screens and sysetm crashes when I try this---can anyone add information or thoughts or help with this issue Cheers and thanks Dorn

HI All Best New Year Wishes to All! Thanks for the help--and the useful information about the weather software--BUT I have been Flight Simming since about 1983—In my opinion FSX is usually good for about a year before it needs a complete reinstall--that is if you are (as am I) a person constantly buying new Sim software and testing out new products. The OLD FSX that we use is only the 32 bit frame—everything that we see ( Orbx scenery and terrain mesh and Mega Scenery 2.0 and Dream Team and Flight Beam and Majestic and PMDG aircraft, Weather Engines and Track IR and Virtual Airline ACARS and ETC ETC) represent the actual visible modern Sim World---hang too much on that Old 32 bit Frame and problems arise---for instance operate it in the world of Win 8 and you will have BIG issues with your sim--on this rebuild I am going to reinstall win 7 so that I can get rid of "joystick drop out" and poor performance of my Go Flight 737 flight instruments--and my rex/Vector issues and my PMDG CDU/MCP issues. Sometimes a lot of little tweaks and patches in FSX work---sometimes they just cause problems down the line---build a new Flight Universe/Flight Sim world and carefully test all the way up as you develop a “New and Robust Sim” is of course the most difficult, but often the BEST OVERALL FIX. Hi All,---Happy New Year! So here is the deal---I am going crazy because all of a sudden my T7 Auto flight system will not work correctly. I have about 1000 hours of T7 time (flight sim not RW) so I know a little bit about the system ( the CDU, FMC, MCP, and EFIS ) and how it works---I am not a big expert by any means--but I can get the plane from a to b most of the time. My specific problem is that the system once engaged via the AP switch--will fly the plane up to about 3000 feet--accelerate to about 249 KTS and just mope along at that altitude and speed--it will not climb using flight level change or vertical nav, and if I try to climb using the VS it will climb a little and then begin to loose airspeed---no amount of throttle input will increase speed at this point. I have reinstalled the entire sim and all my PMDG Products--what is the problem, I am stumped---HELP!!!! Cheers Dorn

Thanks for the responses The Saitek X-52 joystick is fixed--the Saitek Throttle is not. The Saitek throttle is not listed under the new fixes--so it looks like no throttle control except keyboard for PREPAR 3D v2---seems strange for a product of this stature. Would love information on where to download or buy quality airliners for Prepar. Happy New Year to All!!! Cheers Dorn

I am a newbi to PREPAR V2 but a longtime simmer Prepar 3D v2 recognizes my Saitek X-52 joystick but not my Throttle--help I see many videos of people flying various airliners on their PREPAR program but see none listed in the available PREPAR menu--where does one find them? Problem solved thanks to advice from David C. at Buffalo Virtual Airways----Turn on the oil pressure pumps along with the fuel pressure at start up!
