What are the alternatives to ENB bloom?

Featured Replies

Hey guys, I have been using ENB bloom with the Java frame-rate limiter for some time and am generally really happy with the results. For some strange reason the frame-rate limiter is not working now as well as it used to,so I switched over to the Anti-Lag program which also uses a similarly names DLL, and therefore makes ENB unusable. Anti-Lag does a generally better job of limiting framerates and I am happy with the results. My question now is what program should I use to darken the onscreen images slightly and maybe add some bloom. I already have FSX shade and am generally happy with the results, I just want a little bit more screen darkening. Thanks

I also get better results with Antilag than with the Java-based limiter, especially when the framerate is near the limit of 30 FPS. It's easy to use Antilag and ENB Series together. Just rename the Antilag version of the d3d.dll file to something else, like antilag.dll, while keeping the d3d.dll file from ENBSeries. Then just put this section in your enbseries.ini file, replacing any similar lines that already exist.

[PROXY]EnableProxyLibrary=1InitProxyFunctions=1ProxyLibrary=antilag.dll
