September 26, 201114 yr Hello ... A few minutes ago, i was flying LEBL-LSZH with NGX ... When passing T/D, i pressed the TRIP RECALL button in OVHD ... Why? I'm not sure ... I was following this checklist: http://forum.avsim.n...__fromsearch__1 I read RECALL CHECKED, and press this button ... The aircraft stop descent and do not return to descent mode never ... Why? What function has the TRIP RECALL button? How could i return to Descent? PD: I have experience in FS, and in the 737NG since FS9, but i'm not a real life pilot ... José Fco. September 27, 201114 yr Author I have not seen any button called " trip recall " !! Are you talking about the Trip-Reset switch on the Airconditioning panel ? If so, that resets any warnings about the airconditioning system.Yes is that. But when i press this switch the aircraft stop descendingEnviado desde mi GT-I9100 usando Tapatalk José Fco. September 27, 201114 yr You shan't press TRIP RESET anytime without being asked to do so by a QRH checklist. Master cautions are the only things that you check during the recall check. Just press the whole thing, and if MASTER CAUTION stays dark after you release it and no failure is indicated, you're good to go.
September 27, 201114 yr How could i return to Descent? In order to reinitialize descent you just make sure your MCP-altitude is set for your lowest cleared altitude, and push the "ALT INTV" button right besides the altitude adjust knob. The aircraft should then resume it's descent. Bjørn Helge Småvollan

September 27, 201114 yr The three items trip reset, recall, and F/D have nothing to do with each other unless there is some seriously goofed up coding. Which I doubt. Matt Cee
September 27, 201114 yr I think you had two problems, but I don't think one had anything to do with the other. Pressing the aircon reset button would have no impact on you flight, but something else going wrong might have. For example, did you remember to adjust your FCP down to your target altitude? What were your FMA indications? And so on. Paul Smith.
