Been following the tutorial but pressing the on buttonn FMS does not do anything. It stays dark. Both Avionic masters are on.Not sure of what I missed.Thanks,dickdavis229

Is the aircraft powered or are you on batteries?

It is powered up as per tutorial.Batteries on,avionics on and gpu on.I rebooted computer and reloaded program and it was ok.Then tried a new flight this morning starting with engines running and again the FMC would not click on.Not sure whats going on but am thinking it must have something to do with my system. Starting to have trobule with yoke and when I booted up FSX this morning it crashed to desk top saying FSX encountered fatal error.Thanks for you reply.DickDavis229

Try starting FSX by double-clicking the PMDG tutorial flight. That fixed it for me.

I may have just missed that the GPU unit was not green, but red, indcating it was removed. Thanks for reply. Going ahead with tutorial. dickdavis229
