Is the the Seasonal CTD ?

Featured Replies

The last 2 flight on FS9 using the A320PIC my computer just froze solid. Both times during decent. I could see the panel and could move the mouse but the sim was frozen and task manager indicated FS9 was "not responding". Is this the CTD of something to do with the plane itself (1st crash was in Scotland, Second in Denmark).thanks,Mark.

You really haven't provided enough info to tell, but I'd suggest making the TERRAIN.CFG fixes mentioned in other threads and see what happens. If you no longer crash in the same situations then, yes, it's probably the seasonal CTD.

Well I think it is the A320PIC and not the Seasonal CTD. First of all I did not add any mesh in that area and second I just did the exact same flight in a 737, same route, same date and time of day without any problems. I then did it again with the A320 (this time offline) and it crashed again in the decent. I think I just need to re-install the aircraft as it was working before this started.Mark.

Usually, the CTD means Crash ( Close) to desktop. A hanging sim is a different issue. If you're flying along and all of a sudden you're back at the desktop, that's a CTD. If you're flying along and the sim just stops - thats a different issue.HTH,Vic
