September 28, 201114 yr Hi @ all! Yesterday I made a flight and after the landing I had a break temperature of 6.3.After I'm on parking on the gate, the temperature was rising from 6.3 to 6.7 is this normal on a parking aircraft? Katja Mueller / LOWK Austria
September 28, 201114 yr Author Short answer: yes Why?When I'm parking on the gate, the brakes are not used. Katja Mueller / LOWK Austria
September 28, 201114 yr Why?When I'm parking on the gate, the brakes are not used.Residual heat. It takes time for the heat to move from the pads to the sensors. What you're seeing is probably just that delay.

September 28, 201114 yr OK I understand. But I think 6.3 is to much heat on the brakes. That of course depends on how much AB or manual braking you used during touchdown and rollout. It my take up to 10 minutes or even more until the true temperature of the brakes are inidcated on your displays. Btw, was the "bug" fixed with the hotfix that the brakes wouldn't cool down again as long as you are on the ground? regards Regards, Chris Volle i7700k @ 4,7, 32gb ram, Win10, MSI GTX1070.
September 28, 201114 yr OK I understand. But I think 6.3 is to much heat on the brakes. One of the fcom's will probably have something to say about acceptable temperature ranges. I'm away from my sim pc so I can't check. (haven't bothered putting the pdf's on my phone yet)
