September 29, 201114 yr I am new to the 737NGX and am not familiar with the FMC functions to fly a route, say from Edmonton (CYEG) to Vancouver (CYVR). Can I put a plane on autopilot using the main autopilot panel for now? when I try to auto-start (FSX Default) the engines, the panel is black and I cant change any numerical values. Thanks
September 29, 201114 yr Commercial Member If you're used to using the default FSX planes you'll find you cant fly the NGX using any of the game-style commands. Go through the tutorial a couple times, that's the only way you're going to figure this thing out quickly. There is no way to auto start the engines, but it's very simple to do once you know how. September 29, 201114 yr The ngx is an extremely in depth simulation. You cant just use the autostart. If you want to truly enjoy this bird, read the introduction tutorial. Otherwise its really just a waste. This is a real plane in a box, not a default plane. But once you learn it, its fairly easy and very addictive! September 29, 201114 yr Author Did I do something wrong during the installation then? because i just installed the package last night and every time I load up a plane it sits there with its engines off and if the default is "ready to fly", i feel i've done something wrong.

Did it ask you for the activation code when you first selected it ??? May be that it is not activated correctly .. .. G Gary Davies aka "Gazzareth" Simming since 747 on the Acorn Electron

September 29, 201114 yr You can load a panel state with the engines running. Tyler St. Peter Specs- i7-950 OC@ 3.4Ghz, Asus P6TSE, ATI HD5770, 750W PSU, Water cooled, Hitachi 1TB HDD
September 29, 201114 yr yes it did.. In that case it should load up running and ready to go, probably best to try Jason's advice for a clean install .. .. .. G Gary Davies aka "Gazzareth" Simming since 747 on the Acorn Electron
September 29, 201114 yr And don't forget that since you already installed it once it won't ask your for the registration code when you reinstall it. Because that info is already stored in the registry. Paul Deemer
