megascenery airports

Seemingly all addon airports are technically compatible with SimSavvy. Much like the default scenery, an addon airport would likely rest "on-top" of the photoreal scenery that SimSavvy brings to the table. If the addon airport has its own photoreal textures around the airport, they would likely be used, layered on top of what SimSavvy has. There are no technical boundaries or incompatibilities to watch out for between addon airports and SimSavvy scenery! -Greg

I use the Aerosoft New Orleans US Cities add on with SimSavvy and it works great. I also use a freeware u/g for New Orleans Intl airport that has some nice photo real areas close by and they blend perfecty. Like other posts the water absolutely sucks but all the other stuff is a big improvement. Louisiana is a lot greener in the 50 cm version (inland). Mississippi is still bluish.I have added about a dozen or so condos and hotels along the beach in Biloxi and built up Keesler AFB with standard freeware scenery objects using Instant Scenery from Flight1 and it make a terrific improvment in the flat scenery. The port of Gulfport was totally overlooked by FSX default and I just added all kinds of port looking things on top of the dirt. Add a few tankers, cranes and birds and you can almost smell the shrimp. It is just off your port wing on final for 32 at KGPT.Ray
