We are soon to complete and release the Scout (variation on the Decathlon). There will be a bush version, a crop sprayer, and an amphibian, all in one package, plus the usual livery options. We are aiming for Mid February.Kind Regards,Rob Young - www.realairsimulations.com

Sound fantastic, Rob! What about updating the web page? I'd love to see some pictures! At the moment the "Coming soon" section still contains the Super Decathlon and SF.260 FS9 update.VOlker :]

I have a major problem with the sf260... After flying it in fs2004 and after watching footage from Air Combat USA, I want to buy a real sf260! :-) Seriously, I own both the sf260 and the Decathlon, and they are wonderful planes. I have never been a fan of virtual cockpits, but these are some of the best I have ever seen. And the flight models... what can I say. Nothing that hasn't been said already. This has already been posted a few times, but check out this site for some great sf260 pictures:http://www.geocities.com/Nashville/7348/indexa.html

Hi Volker,We've got quite a few projects in the pipeline, but we are reluctant to post shots until we are completely happy with the liveries and models. We will be posting a few screenies of the Scout quite soon though.Cheers,Rob

I used to fly nothing but the SF.260, but now I'm finding myself flying the Decathlon from RealAir as well!I just can't get enough of the new Decathlon, especially the way she handles aerobatic maneuvers such as slow rolls, four-point rolls, even knife-edges!!!Looking at the Decathlon from external view, with the smoke switched on whilst doing aerobatics is something that I believe needs to be seen to be believed. Quite simply, and I know its been said a thousand times before but I'll say it again: The SF.260 and Decathlon are possibly the best GA aircraft you can buy for FS2002 & FS2004.I think I hear my Decathlon begging me to take 'er up one more time...James

Did the combat routine six or seven years ago.................. & got three out of six "kills". It was one of those great experiences! :)On the way to the combat area, you do very close formation, and then aerobatics afterwards------- if your stomach holds up..L.Adamson

For those who may not have noticed, the Decathlon folder contains an aircraft cfg and airfile named "advanced handling". After backing up your originals you can use these for even more realism in ground handling, but beware: with a cross wind, p-factor and turbulence take off and landing can be very entertaining, and ground loops are very easy to provoke.Have Fun,Rob Young - RealAir
