I have everything up and rinning, flew my JS 41 from KLAS to KLAS today. LINDA and MCP Combo worked perfectly together BUT the MPC "manual" leaves a lot to be desired. The upper right button on the COM section is a good example: After pressing it once none of the light buttons worked. I pressed it again a few tims and it was cycling through several modes, finally getting back to the lights.LINDA has given me lots of options for programming (THANKS!) but I need to know more about the MCP. Is there an "MCP Combo for Dummies" out there somewhere? Google and Yahoo searches just keep leading back to the same little bit of info that comes with the unit. I am really looking forward to the time when I can set up LINDA to fly the Embraer Regional Jets.What should I study first before trying something like that? Sorry to keep coming back with more requests for help but there probably isn't another flight sim enthusiast within 80 miles from here.Thanks and don't worry about that horn blowing on final approachNeal Howard

Hi Neal,when using LINDA, nothing you do with your MCP-Combo comes from the Combo himself, except sending what button is pushed or dial is turned.Every function is coming from LINDA.Take a look at the MCP-Part of Linda, there you can see what funktion is assigned to several buttons.

you have to understand the LINDA interface"The upper right button on the COM section" switches the 'mode 1 > 2'these Mode tabs need to be defined properly (AND saved properly)did you chk if 'lights buttons' actually control the JS41 lights (i'm not at my box)2 cts(LINDA interface can be somewhat couterintuitive I found out, if one starts from a wrong premise. I had to fiddle with 'test' definitions for quite a while, before i figured how LINDA setup actually commands FSUIPC)
