October 6, 201114 yr there can never be a weather radar in FSX. FSX simply cannot recreate one properly. All you are seeing is clouds, not rain. FSX cannot even tell you when its raining properly, i mean just fly around during showers and watch the rain falling from cloudless skies, its broken. Id rather have no "Weather" radar than one thats showing false data. October 6, 201114 yr Author The reason it looks like I am at 80,000 feet is cause of the Real Environment X theme I am using. That is the High Alittude Blues theme. When near the ground the sky is all blue but up at cruise it turns to black. Hence the Name of the Theme. I do not use this anymore with my planes. However it would be the perfect theme for the Concorde of SR-72 Blackbird! Paul Deemer
