October 10, 201114 yr Moderator did you see this? http://forum.aerosof...__fromsearch__1 It was an interesting read. The bottom line being then that one must load the DA-20 with the Master Battery switched ON, since the "battery switch" in the Katana doesn't actually control FSX's battery at all... What's odd though is that either FSUIPC's "eternal battery" or the aircraft.cfg entry is supposed to keep battery voltage constant. Fr. October 11, 201114 yr Author HiThank you guys for being helpfulI don't understand why my dear friend from the aerosoft forum keeps saying that I am the biggest idiot that has ever lived in the universe whereas the problem has been reported before but that is how some people are.It can't be a FSX bug because the DA 20 seems to be the only aircraft to have it. I have the A2A B377 and the B17 which are really complex aircraft and no problem at all with the electrical systems. If I understand correctly, the only "fix" is to save a flight with an aircraft with the battery switch in the on position. I like cold and dark cockpit so I'll stick with the CTRL+E trick as soon as the avionics fails. My gallery: http://s1075.photobucket.com/albums/w430/yankeegolf/
October 12, 201114 yr Moderator Well, there are some programming tricks which would prevent such odd things from occurring in the first place. I have done several semi-complex custom systems whereby I've hijacked certain "stock FS controls" for my own purposes. In every case though, I've carefully set up the pre-conditions required for my 'custom code' to work transparently. Fr.
