I have had the (great) little book ‘The Vital Guide to Commercial Aircraft & Airliners’ (Ed. Robert Hewson) for years, but excellent as it is, it is over ten years old now and desperately needs updating (and expanding??). Has anyone got a recommendation for a similar book? I have searched Amazon.com for something similar, but with no luck. Martin

If you want something up to date, use wikipedia. Books can't be updated like the internet can.
