Featured Replies

Can anyone explain to me how to use the co pilot feature in RC?I've read the pdf and it only mentions Otto in the tutorial flights.

what's your question? you can give otto the comms, and he will handle all the communications. switching freqs, responding, acknowledging, etc for ms planes, or planes with ms autopilot, you can let otto fly the plane. he will not takeoff or land the plane. you have to do that. jd

I cannot activate Otto. I don't know how to, I have read every page in the v4.3 manual.

Otto keystrokes are defined by opening RC and looking at the Keyboard tab. That will show you the defaults for swapping comms or control between him/her and you. See the voices tab for setting your co-pilot voice. Be aware that Otto has location limits such as when using NOTAMS in the departure or arrival phase. If you are using Otto for comms, then you give up the ability to request a repeat of a command or delay an ack to allow you to start an aircraft action to comply. The uses and limitations are described in the tutorials in the manual. Search on Otto.

Missed the part about keyboard commands. Got it all sorted out now, thanks bud!
