I have Active sky running in FSX and have noticed that the 'upper' sky colour darkens above an arc stretching almost across the whole screen. I believe that this cannot be corrected ? Thank youDon

Hi Don, please remember to sign your posts with your full name... I believe you are describing the Sky color, which is unrelated to ASE, but can be changed with any number of graphics add-ons. For example, X Graphics includes many sky sets which include a very dark upper sky (i.e. high altitude flight look), but also includes many more typical lower-altitude looks (more bright upper sky). Does this help?
