topcat 737-800 SFP?

Featured Replies

Does anyone know whether Topcat developers are working on a new 737-800 profile compatible with the short field performance package? Thanks! p.s: yes, I will post there too, I just thought someone here might be in on it.

Cheers,

I believe they are, but they are however very busy with their upcoming flight planner package (similar to FSbuild). I'm also curious how the short field package affects things for specific runways, and how we can calculate it manually without topcat.

Well, AFAIK it affects performance vastly. The 737-800 simply wouldn´t be able to operate on SBRJ if it weren´t for this modification!

or YBUD or YPMQ etc etc, I really want a SFP file too, cant we mess with some TOPCAT config files to make it work?

You´re welcome to try mate. I have no time/disposition to mess with that though! Way too many tables, calculations... etc. It must be tons of work! That´s why I think they deserve every penny
