October 12, 201114 yr Hello, I have been plane spotting at Brisbane (YBBN), Australia for years, and I have been wondering when regular A380 services will begin. The daily BNE-LAX Qantas service is flown by a 744, and since they are going to be phased out from 2013, will the A380 be taking it's place? Emirates has a lounge in the International terminal that connects directly to an A380-capable gate, and there are rumors that they were supposed to fly the A380 into YBBN from 2009, but that hasn't happened, as their regular service is currently being operated by 777-300ERs and A340-500s. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Kevin L
