Guys, I loved the way my water looked with REX and FSWC w/Shader 3, looks very very good at low alttitudes. At high altitude over Oceans I noticed using Low 2x that my FPS take a dump. I fixed the problem getting rid of Shader Mod 3 (also tried Bojote Shader Mod) and just using the FSX Shaders and REX. I wanted to know can I still use FSWC without using Shader 3? ThanksCheers

FSWC is in fact not compatible with the Shader 3 Mod and as far as I know Paul has no plans to retool FSWC to be compatible with the Shader 3 Mod. You should be using FSWC with no shader mod. It was design to be used with Shader 2.0. Regards, Bob

Sorry but doesn't FSWC have an option to install Shader 3 Mod? I know that it install some sort of shader because it ask you to back up your orginial FSX Shader (maybe Shader 1). Aside from that, can I use FSWC without using ANY shader except the stock FSX one?

It asks you to backup your original shader file because the program manipulates the settings of that file. You back it up in case you want to revert back to a "stock" configuration.

Ok cool, thanks I just installed it and it works with no FPS loss...doesnt make sense but it works!
