The help file says to go to options and select flight video however it is grayed out unless Im in free flight mode. How to fix this? Thanks Dan

I don't believe that option works in mission mode, just the flight analysis.

Ok just wondering because I saw a youtube video of the Tokyo mission and it had the commentary that is from the mission. It showed the landing strip and had the audio from the mission itself.Thanks

You could also use Fraps to record individual scenes, then put them together using a video editing software. Using such software you can add voice-overs and music, then render the final video for uploading on youtube.
