Hi ! I bought the NGX 3 weeks ago and i installed it without any problems. I registered the product with the serial number given by mail and i made the first flight all went good and without problems aside the fact i cant see runway from 2D but i am getting used to use the VC. Anyway i Flew around 7-8 flights without problems then i downloaded a livery from avsim i think air india i intsllaed it load the flight and when the panel was inizializieng everything crashed to desktop. i tried again and again crash to desktop. i changed livery and CTD. I changed airpot and again. I changed time of the day and again. I disinstalled all and installed all again i made the flight with the livery i downloaded without problems fromt that time till today i flew around 20 flights and today again, i downloaded from avsim the turkish airways livery installed with livery manager load the plane and CTD. Change livery airport time of flight season but nothing. I load the 747 and all works then i change aircraft and CTD. So i suppose i do have to disinstall it and install it again. At the end my question is how come i have this CTD ? I think all is installed correctly or i would have problems even at the first flight. I run FSX on windows 7 64. Thanks to everyone

Do you have the latest hotfix installed? It helps with the crashes. Also, if you have the original installer, it had a bug in that it set the aircraft.cfg's to locked. Maybe this is creating some sort of conflict when you install a livery.

If you bought in October than the big I talked about shouldnt be there. For example, I bought it the day it came out and that original installer had the bug I talked about. So yours shouldn't have that bug, but I don't know if your has hotfix 4 included because hotfix 4 was kind of like a beta hotfix so I don't know if it was ever included in the installer (I can assure you it does have up to hotfix 3). You can go to your root FSX folder>simobjects>airplanes>and check that the aircraft cfg's of your NGX planes say version 2987. If they say this you have hotfix 4 if not, you don't. I had OOM errors sometimes after simmong for a long time, but this hotfix completely solved them, so I would try installing it.Also, I don't know if it's necessary but I always uninstall my liveries to be safe. I would recommend you uninstall the liveries at least this time since you are having problems with them.

I tried CTRL+G but i think that cobination of keys is assigned to something related to the gear inthe PMDG keys menu...

Its okay we're all glad to help. Starting with the obvious, are you connected to the Internet? If yes, then are you using any program which turns off windows services? This causes activation issues. I would advise you completely remove the Ngx (remove the pmdg folder in the root FSX directory and delete any trace of the aircraft files under simobjects>airplanes after you uninstall it with the uninstalled). Then install the main Ngx program and later install hotfix 4. If you still have activation issues then you might need to submit a support ticket to pmdg.

Hi I did like u said ! I disinstalled all then ideleted the folder of the pmdg 737 i cleaned the registry i rebooted PC i installed the base pack and soon after i installed the hotfix i checked theaircraft.cfg and all was correct i loaded the aircraft but it didntask me any licence anymore..but everything worked fine...:S
