However, when i go to reinstall it, it says the 737NGX is already installed, but there is no sign on my computer of anything PMDG 737NGX....it won't show me a menu where I could click repair, what do I do? October 17, 201114 yr If you did not Format: It is possible you still have NGX entries in the Windows Registry causing a problem. If you did Format: Did you add any New Hardware to your system? If you did and tried to install the NGX this could cause a problem. You can run the NGX on 2 computers if you get a License and Permission from PMDG and only run one copy at a time. If you do not already have such permission and added new hardware it may think your trying to install to a 2nd machine and is telling you Sorry Fella no can do. I had this issue with Vista and XP Installs a few times when adding new Hard Drives. (New Hardware) When you install Windows it phones home to Microsoft and notifies them of the Hardware changes. If it appears your hardware has changed it thinks your trying to install a 2nd copy on another computer. In this case I had to phone a customer support and explain the hardware changes that were made before I could get a new Serial Number. This is why most companies today require an active Internet connection for you to register their products. It helps them protect their Interllectual Property Rights, and you can bet it is making a note of your system configuration. If that configuration changes they will know about it and then you end up in the position you are in now. Short version: Open a Support Ticket. Paul Deemer

All this is true, but I have never had any kind of problem getting permission by phone or internet from ANY software company, so you should be okay when you send in the support ticket.
