October 19, 201114 yr Hi Is there still a way of listening to the ILS morse code in PMDG 737 NGX? Do I have to set the EFIS nav switches to VOR in order to listen to the ILS morse code? Sincerely gura75 Geir Hansen
October 19, 201114 yr Hi,If I remember correctly you have to look below your VOR and NAV panel. There is a panel with round knobs on it. Every knob represents a sound source. VHF 1, 2, 3, HF 1, 2, and in the secons line you have the NAV 1, 2, ADF and so on. Press the button NAV 1 or 2 to head the sound from the ILS. Hope it woks,John John Rubens
October 19, 201114 yr Funny ! I have the opposite problem.I always hear the Morsecode, and have to click twice on the NAV-Radio Button to silence it. In the beginning I even never could silence it, until I found out, that I have to start a FSX-Default PLane, deaktivate NAV Radio in it, an save this as the startup default flight. A little bit strange, but maybe this is one of the 150+ improvements from the Hotfixes, which I have not installed. Still running the very first Version. October 19, 201114 yr Guys, in FSX there are assignments for different IDENTs. Just go into radio panel and disable them all. You'll stop getting morse code ident.
October 19, 201114 yr Speaking about redundancy and assuming the useful morse fails, is there perhaps another backup way to know if a VOR is captured ? ...beside the VOR green writing on the main panel.
