Switzerland Professional

Featured Replies

Hey guys out there! Here in Switzerland, we soon have got a reeeaally realistic scenery of our country on Fs2002/04. It's called Switzerland Professional (www.mailsoft.ch). Whole of Switzerland is covered with air photos, on which you can find every house in Switzerland. So if you want to fly through our alps -> that's it :DHere are more pictures:http://virtual.planepictures.net/search.cgi?Pascal$StruplerEnjoy!cya Strupi

Enjoyed your shots of Walensee--I've driven by that lake many times, the first time in '77. One thing I remember is driving down the motorway along the shore of the lake, the surface of the motorway sparkled from the rock used to pave it--I believe we were told the sparkling came from quartz crystals embedded in the granite used as part of the motorway pavement... It was an amazing sight, cruising down the sparkling motorway with the lake and mountains above... Last time I made a journey through the region was '91, so your shots bring back some fine memories...-John

The pictures look good. Are the sceneries G-max and frame rate friendly? Might be worth purchasing.Lee

Yes it's very framerate friendly!!! I've got about 20 frames with my amd thunderbird 1200mhz and geforce 4. It's like the standard FS scenery, so you can land on the surface, on water etc.

This is truely an amazing addon. But I'm afraid the steep price (200 Swiss francs or about 100 euro) will seriously hamper its commercial success.Paul

I pre-ordered the Switzerland scenery but it hasn't shipped yet. The website states it will be released in january 2004 so I hope it ships soon.

Stunning package.....and probably worth the money, if you have it. As with the UK photo scenery though I would miss the seasonal changes and night lighting. Nevertheless it looks very tempting. I love Suisse as a country.

I notice they also have just Zurich airport and Geneva. How are those packages? It might be worth it just to get one of those and try it out. I'd try Zurich as it has been ages since anyone has done a really good Zurich (since FS2000 I think).Lee
