October 19, 201114 yr FSX with Win 7 Home Prem 32bit. Controls CH Eclipse Yoke & PedalsBeen using controls 15 months from new. I am now experiencing occasional and unpredictableyaw behaviour just about identical to wind shear! This can occur "hands on" and in AP mode. The mystery is that on the ground and in spot view I see erratic rudder movement and failure to "center".As this occurs the pedals in the aircraft are moving backwards and forwards, this with feet off the pedals.Re calibration does not seem to workk as it should. Any ideas? Regards Wiggins
October 19, 201114 yr I had exactly the same problem you are experiencing and it didn't show up right away, but about 8 months after I bought the eclipse yoke. Have you unplugged the rudder pedals and checked if you still have the twitch? If so, check the FSX controls and see if you have anything related to the rudder assigned to the yoke. If found that I did, but I can't remember which control it was. I deleted that assignment and everything has worked fine since. I can't say for certain, but I think a plane installed assigned the control, because I didn't have the problem when I first started using the yoke and I hadn't made any assignment changes. I also downloaded the CH control manager, but that didn't seem to help. Check your controls and see if you can locate the culprit. Hope it helps. October 20, 201114 yr You might want to check in at the CH Hangar Forums. I found some good (and very patient) help over there when I had a different problem from what you are asking about. Dan George (woodhick)Check out Greenbrier Aero Club, the VA for and about the GA pilot.
