Dots on NGX cockpit displays

Featured Replies

Dear all: I have been experiencing dots on the cockpit displays, usually as I am panning around, zoomed out (0.3), the virtual cockpit - see image attached. My computer specifics: CPU: i7 2600k @ 4.5 GHZGPU: GTX580 Tried 2 different drivers for my GPU, with no resolution. Curious if there is a solution out there. Thanks and regards.

I have ATI, but had the same issue, you will find if you zoom in it goes away. I also use ati tray tools l, I have my AA set to the Max there, but was only able to remedy the situation by switching my AA in game from Tri-linear to Antroscopic (spelt wrong) . I took a fps hit, but it cleared everything up, even some of the small jaggies on my wings and tail when outside at certain views.Wish I knew a better way, bit so far this is the only thing that has worked for me.

Just a long shot, but have you tried adjusting the backlight of the instruments?

@ Jeff: I did try adjusting the back-light of the instruments, but no success there. @ William: will have to give your suggestion a try, it does seem to diminish as I zoom in... Weird stuff really.. Many thanks for your feedback gentlemen.

@ William: tried your suggestion, with no success - HOWEVER, if I switch to a low res vc the dots disappear for the most part... I quite like the high res vc though.

Solved the issue by re-applying the MS FSX profile in NVIDIA Inspector.
