And the final answer for the NGX is...??? -
WOW, excellent paint. On first glance, I thought the first two were photos of a Real World aircraft. NICE WORK!!!

What are your top 5 favorite planes

UP Kantega XC paraglider738NGX(repeat as necessary to add up to 5) -
I've changed my aileron_effectiveness from 1.0 to 0.5 to mellow out the over sensative lateral contral I get with my Saitek Yoke. For those interested in giving it a try, its located in the aircraft.cfg file under [flight_tuning].

"The trainee should ask the captain what is the only AFDS mode that can control Thrust, Pitch and Roll at the same time !I wonder would he know the answer ?"One should take extreme care in challenging the instructor, it seldom turns out for the better!

MCP commands are programmable in the CDU and FSX. Whichever you use, make sure you delete the other, conflicting, assignments.

Thanks Kevin, I will try it as well.Nikita, if you set it to anything over 90 you will be turning in the oposite direction.

I ran into this problem at some point in the past. I am running EZCA and through tial and error I found that my seat position was ever-so slightly too far forward. When I moved myself back all worked fine.

I concur! Though not a real world pilot, I do remember my military days when I flew observation in KC135 and B52's and control input was quite rapid and far more extreme than aircraft response would indicate. You got me thinking about this, and I had been meaning to address it for some time, so I opened aircraft.cfg and found that changing the "aileron_effectiveness = 1.0" to "aileron_effectiveness = 0.5" under [flight_tuning]. It made a world of difference. When I have more time I'll tweek it more to my actual flight preference.

I used to use 'Tool Tips' to get the trim as close to what the CDU says as possible, but after contemplation, realized that real world crews don't have such details in there settings. I turned off 'Tool Tips' and just set the trim as close as I could visually with the analog indicator on the stab wheel and I have never had a problem attributable to stab trim being off the mark. After takeoff, when I've established a steady asscent, I will adjust the trim to remove pressure from my control column and engage the Autopilot.

I've only one flight since SP1b but had to 'ESC' the flight when my pushback would not end and I couldn't stop it any other way. My restart directly after this went fine with the pushback and flight, though I was interrupted prior to landing so can't speak on that leg of the flight. Sorry I don't have a solution and I do remember this was a problem others experienced back in original release time frame.

Just out of interest would you like..

I prefer to stay in the cockpit as an enhancement to my flight experience and don't care about views or sounds outside of such. -
If you have seperate engine throttle controls, ensure your engine thrust is even.

Thanks for the reply. I am using the stock configuration, but I'm sure at some time in the past i've changed this setting, just can't remember if/where it is configured.
