November 13, 201114 yr After completing landings and reaching taxi speeds, disengaging autobrakes, etc., the NGX makes sharp turns without any manual input and at the same time the aircraft feels as if the GW of the aircraft has been reduced by a lot more than the 10-15K lbs of fuel used during the trip. The rollout is fine but my landings thus far have been LAND3 so the rollout is auto-managed. Thus far I have experienced this on taxiways at KATL and KORD. I had also seen this behavior pre-SP1 but had dismissed it as a temporary anomaly but now it's happening again. Has anyone else seen this behavior ? Any suggested tweeks ?ThanksZach zachlog
November 13, 201114 yr Have you disengaged to autopilot after you autoland? If you don't do so, the aircraft will try to steer back onto the runway when you turnoff, trying to maintain the localizer. Arjen Vandervelde

The autopilot should be off since I have a Saitek macro that performs several functions after landing but I cannot say with certainty that the macro worked when I had this problem. Will look into it....thanks !Zach zachlog

November 26, 201114 yr My nosewheel always pulls to the left AFTER landing (a/p off) but when taxying to depart it never happens. -- X-Plane, Mac OS, XSB
November 26, 201114 yr Same thing here I always land manually, yet a couple of days ago, I had just loaded at kfll and while I was on taxi, the plane would suddenly start steering itself left and sometimes right. I have no clue what caused it, but I've also been having rudder trim problems when loading a panel state, and the turning has happened to me with panel states in which I had this rudder trim problem.Rudder trim problem: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/354706-possible-bug/page__pid__2171742#entry2171742 Alfredo Terrero
November 26, 201114 yr Personally I think it is a bad idea to have any kind of of trim whatsoever on an AXIS. Example if you got a thumb wheel and you put the Trim on that, there is no way to tell exactly where center is. So if you do not return to exact center position your going to have issues big time. The best way is to put any trims on a Rocker or POV. Paul Deemer

My issue started when I had to adjust the rudder trim inflight, then after saving the panel state and loading it on a subsequent flight, the Ngx seemed to start with the rudder trim either full left or right. November 26, 201114 yr How are you controlling the Rudder trim?I don't have it mapped to anything since I pretty much never use it; I just move the 3d switch in the virtual cockpit. Alfredo Terrero

In that case I have a bug :( Manfred G. Ships are cooler that you think.
