  1. Add to that I no longer have any rain showing? ????
  2. Hi, I just purchased Immersion 737 and Precipit FX for the P3DV3 Not checked much but the very first effect seems to be very strange, in that I get a STATIC effect in front of the aircraft from the cockpit - Landing Lights. Difficult to describe and so I made a video (below). Please note that I took the vid holding my phone in my left hand whilst flying with the right hand and so it is a little shaky. I also purposely flew low over the runway so that the strange effect can be best seen. Any suggestions please Leslie Channell Chann https://youtu.be/YNQ_8_yKZAk
  3. Thank you Scott The great news is that I found the solution was that VRinsight had decided to change my com port from 3 to 4 without me knowing. Having done a windows update this week (I do them seldom) I was chasing that route.. Now I am having to roll back Linda to 1.13 as I had that running with the VRinsight MCP Combo Version 1 with the PMDG NGX and am getting another error... [E] *** LUA Error: F:\FSX\modules\linda-cfg/system/config-hid.lua:21: attempt to index global 'JSTK3' (a nil value) That file is non existent at the moment! I am on the case.... But we are connected!
  4. Linda 2.6.8 (147) Linda 2.6.3 FSX PMDG NGX 737 Trying to connect Linda to FSX and get the following error. ------ Setting the hooks and direct calls into the simulator ------ --- CONTROLS timer memory location obtained ok --- SIM1 Frictions access gained ASN active function link set --- FS Controls Table located ok [E] VRI port 1 "com3" failed to open --- Installed Mouse Macro hooks ok. Wind smoothing may be by ASN, not FSUIPC, if it is running Will switch smoothing action when ASN starts/stops --- G3D.DLL fix attempt installed ok --- All links checked okay I have reinstalled the Vinsight drivers and updated to the latest FSUIPC (registered) Any help much appreciated. 5. Thanks Scott PM sent. For the benefit of others I am using LINDA 2.5.7 and the IFLY737 version 2.0 lua module. I will roll it all back to 1.13 and report back Chann
  6. Hi. I have been using Linda with the VRinsight MCP (original) with the PMDG NGX very successfully, thank you. Now I am trying to get it to work with the Ifly 737 and am having a problem. I keep getting the following error iFly 737/config-mcp.lua:625 Any help appreciated. Thank you. Chann (nickname)
  7. Sadly I have to report that my PMDG 737 NGX also freezes. I thought it might be my PC and so I flattened every drive and rebuilt the PC from scratch. After a mammoth amount of work, I still suffer the freezes. Aircraft affected: PMDG 737 NGX only What freezes: ONLY FSX, all other applications are left running, such as VPilot or FSInn (before rebuild), ASN - They all work still When: At anytime How long: Anything between 1 minute to 10 minutes Where: In the air or at the stand Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Version 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 Build 7601 System Type x64-based PC Processor Intel® Core i5 CPU 650 @ 3.20GHz, 3201 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s) Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 7.00 GB Total Physical Memory 6.99 GB Available Physical Memory 4.53 GB Total Virtual Memory 14.0 GB Available Virtual Memory 11.0 GB Page File Space 6.99 GB Page File C:\pagefile.sys
  8. Well I was waiting for the AVSIM server to load and it seems I hit the button in my impatience. How can I delete the duplicated posts Apologies not a PMDG question - but PMDG are being hosted here.
  9. Recently re installed FSX and the PMDG Never had this before but now after flying with the left DU's undocked the main panel locks up and becomes distorted Any help appreciated Thanks
  10. Hi I just re installed my setup and I had the same. Been pulling my hair out for about three hours. My solution was:- Within FSX - Options (menu) - Settings - Display to bring up the display menu Tick the Anti-aliasing check box. Hope that helps you too.
  11. Thanks Aaron, I was about to click the X when I read your post. I agree 100% can we get this back on to the original discussion please. If there is nothing to add, then don't add to it with other issues that should be discussed elewhere herein. Thanks - Looking forward to the continueing news on the P3D licensing 'saga'. Leslie PMDG NGX - Simmer
  12. Thanks Andy Just discovered that it is not the new USB mouse causing the conflict but we have a POLAR watch interface USB device. http://polarelectro2-px.rtrk.co.uk/uk-en/products/accessories/flowlink When I unplug that and run LINDA all is well. Need to remind myself to unplug before running. Fixed (for now) Cheers folks hope the info helps. Chann
